Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)

Mingalaba! Welcome to Yangon – Myanmar’s largest city of the timeless charm. Today meet your local guide at Yangon International Airport, we then transfer to the hotel for check-in.
After a short break at the hotel, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour around Yangon. Soak into the fruit market in China Town to observe the alluring of Myanmar’s culture. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of and colorful tropical fruit vendors.
After that, highlight your city tour with a visit to the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda, the most fascinating Buddhist structure of the world. Located on the top of Singuttara Hill, the sacred temple has gone through 2500 years, witnessed the city’s dynamic as well as its ever-changing history. Spend your precious time to wander around the temple and marvel at the golden dome light up the sunshine at the sunset.

Day 2: Yangon City Tour – Boat to Thanlyin (B)

A full day to explore the fascinating Yangon. The city is a must-see city for tourists who want to see a different Asia with a combination of nature, cultures, and communities. Start the day with a visit to Kyauktawgyi Buddha Temple to marvel at the famous Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image which was made from a piece of white marble rock in 2000 EC.
After that, head to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, home to a colossal reclining Buddha image. At 66 meters long, this is one of the most highly revered Buddha images in Myanmar. At the feet of the Buddha are carved with traditional symbols, this is where pilgrims often gather to pay homage.
Leave the pagoda, head down to Karaweik Hall Royal, an impressive floating golden barge situated on Kandawgyi Lake. Karaweik Hall is considered as the most beautiful photo stop of Yangon. Take this chance to save stunning photos here. Next up, drive to Yangon’s city center to visit the 2500-year-old Sule Pagoda, an important Buddhist pagoda for religious ceremonies and political affairs where it is believed to enshrine a strand of the Buddha’s hair.

In the afternoon, we take a scenic boat trip to Thanlyin, a beautiful tranquil town lies on the southeast of Yangon. It is home to two impressive pagodas: the Kyaikkauk Pagoda and Kyaikmawwin (Yele) Pagoda, situated on an island.
We will first walk across the Thanlyin Bridge to reach the Kyakikkauk Pagoda for a short visit. Kyakikkauk Pagoda is an imposing golden stupa resembles the Shwedagon Pagoda. Then you will see the daily life of the local people in the Kyauktan market before taking a boat trip to Kyaikmawwun (Yele) Pagoda, a dramatic pagoda on an island built by King Zeyasana, the seventh King of Bagan Dynasty in the 3rd century BC.
Later on, return to Yangon and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 3: Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) (B)

The Golden Rock at Mt. Kyaikhtiyo is a great pilgrimage site in Myanmar. It is a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and perched dramatically on the edge of a cliff. The incredible position of the sacred rock is said that there is a Buddha’s hair which was enshrined inside rock has kept the rock from falling.
We start our day earlier than usual with a drive to Kyaikthiyo. On arrival at Golden Rock base camp, we take the open truck to head up the Golden Rock. We will take light trekking to reach the summit through a bamboo forest. From the top of the mountain, you will have a panoramic view of the rock breathtaking valley. You may also see thousands of pilgrims from different areas of the country.

Day 4: Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) – Bago – Yangon (B)

After breakfast, take a short morning walk to a small cave and stop at some roadside shops for rare products of the jungle. Enjoy the fresh air of the morning on the mountain. Then we drive down to the base camp to drive back to Yangon.
On the way back, we stop at Bago – a historic town where is home to numerous Buddhist sites. Get a first taste of the local flavor at the lively market. Then we visit KanbawzaThardi Palace – a majestic palace built by King Bayinnaung which is one of the most glorious dynasties in the history of Myanmar. After that, visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda – the tallest pagoda in Myanmar with a heigh of 114 meters (15 meters taller than Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon). From here go for a short visit at KalayaniSima (Ordination Hall) before visiting Shwethalyaung Pagoda to admire the world’s most beautiful reclining Buddha and Wood Carving Industry.

Day 5: Yangon Departure (B)

Today, spend your last minutes shopping at Treasure, Gems and Handicraft shops or Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) market, the largest market in Yangon before your driver transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
